Seven Letters
Viktorija Pilatovic is one of the most distinctive and sophisticated voices in contemporary jazz. Born in Lithuania and now rooted in the Spanish scene, she stands out for a unique artistic approach: adding lyrics to melodies rooted in instrumental jazz, creating a poetic and deeply expressive sound world. Her music blends technical brilliance with emotional depth, earning the admiration of artists such as Terri Lyne Carrington and Dianne Reeves.
Her latest release, Seven Letters (2026), produced by Petros Klampanis, confirms an internationally acclaimed trajectory, with recognition from media such as DownBeat, In & Out Jazz, Más Jazz Digital and NPR. Drawing on contemporary jazz as well as Brazilian, Mediterranean and classical influences, Pilatovic describes this project as “instrumental jazz with lyrics,” where voice and instruments share equal weight in storytelling.
A versatile collaborator, she has worked with artists such as Michael League (Snarky Puppy), Greg Osby, Banda Magda, Antonio Serrano, Perico Sambeat (with Sílvia Pérez Cruz) and Jorge Pardo.
On stage, Pilatovic delivers a magnetic, high-level artistic experience, joined by Albert Palau, Miquel Álvarez and Quique Ramírez: an intense and sophisticated performance where virtuosity serves emotion and connection with the audience.
